NANJING, China, Nov. 27, 2025 – Duolun Technology, in collaboration with EngineAI, made its joint exhibition debut at the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Expo (WIME) at Nanjing International Expo Center, presenting an intelligent traffic command robot that captured significant industry attention.
The robot, built upon EngineAI's PM01 humanoid platform through secondary development, integrates advanced sensing, real-time decision-making, and multi-modal interaction to reimagine urban traffic management.

Marking its tenth anniversary, this year's WIME adopted the theme "Digital Intelligence Drives New Quality Productivity," showcasing expanded scale, content, and international participation. Across four exhibition halls spanning 55,000 square meters, the event gathered over 400 industry leaders—including JD.com, XCMG, and Nanjing Iron & Steel—to display cutting-edge advances in industrial robotics, embodied AI, smart factories, and machine tools.

The expo also introduced an international featured exhibition zone for the first time, integrating high-level forums, product launches, technology demonstrations, and industry matchmaking. Gui Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, emphasized the event's role in promoting the application of intelligent manufacturing technologies and fostering industrial collaboration.
Traffic Command Robot: Three Core Capabilities
The joint development brings together Duolun's expertise in digital traffic safety solutions and EngineAI's strength in humanoid robotics, particularly its high-precision joint modules and multi-modal perception technology.

The traffic command robot demonstrates three core innovations:l Intelligent Perception: Using a fused lidar and multi-camera system, it accurately identifies traffic light status and monitors vehicle and pedestrian movement within a 100-meter range.l Real-Time Decision-Making: Powered by Duolun's proprietary traffic algorithms, it dynamically adjusts command strategies based on real-time traffic flow.l Multi-Modal Interaction: Leveraging PM01's high-precision joints, it accurately replicates all eight standard traffic command gestures, supported by synchronized voice prompts.

Notably, the robot also features signal light coordination, enabling dynamic traffic control through real-time communication with intersection signal systems via edge computing nodes.According to Zhang Tiejian, Dean of Duolun Technology Research Institute, the robot represents a pioneering application of embodied intelligence in traffic command scenarios, bringing new momentum to the smart transportation sector.

During the expo, the robot performed live demonstrations, drawing crowds with its fluid movements and precise environmental awareness. Both companies expressed plans to accelerate pilot applications and explore deployment at real-world intersections.
Collaboration Paves the Way for Scenario-Based Robotics
As the first outcome of the strategic partnership, the robot reflects a deep integration of smart transportation and embodied AI technologies. The project moved from concept to prototype in just three months, combining Duolun's full-chain expertise in traffic systems with EngineAI's robotic platform capabilities.




Looking ahead, Duolun Technology will continue to leverage EngineAI's strengths in robotic hardware, algorithms, and applications, integrating them with its own AI services and deep operational experience in public security and transportation. The newly established Robot Synergy Innovation Research Center will advance R&D and application of humanoid robots across vehicle management, traffic guidance, security patrols, and emergency response—supporting the intelligent transformation of the transportation industry.
